Ingredients to make Gajar ka halwa

  • Cartots 2 kilogram
  • Milk 2 litre
  • mawa 500 gram
  • Pure ghee 250 gram
  • sugar 1 kilogram
  • almonds and cashews to garnish

How to make Gajar ka halwa

  1. Wash and peel carrots

  2. Grind or grate carrots

  3. Put a vok on medium heat adding grinded carrots

  4. Add milk in it

  5. Cook well by keep stirring

  6. Add mawa

  7. Add sugar

  8. Fry well adding ghee
  9. Add chopped dry fruits

  10. Serve hot
